Reuben’s Comments
Greetings from Reuben.
A pastor was visiting a young boy in the hospital dying of cancer. During the conversation the child ask the question, “What is it like to die?” The pastor replied, “Son, you tell me what you think it will be like to die.” The child thought a minute, and then replied. “I think you just close your and go to sleep, then you wake up, and there is Jesus…and he waves and says,” “Hello friend”
It is good to know the peace of God that passes all understanding. The human mind cannot comprehend the love of God. But, the Holy Spirit allows us to show that love to others. Why don’t you share that love with someone in need today? You’ll be glad you did.
Reuben, only a child can see the simple truth. They have coping systems that are designed by God that allow them to break most thinks down to an understanding level. Love those children, and they deserve our encouragement and love much more than is sometimes given, whereas they give more and more love. Blessings…
This is so true – the innocence of children is a source of joy and reality for me. To see things thru the eyes of a child puts so many things in perspective for me.
Much love….Diane
When a child is small, he trust and loves his parents. The child depends of the parents for every need, and never doubts that his father or mother will not supply that need.
That is the way God wants us to love and trust him.
Mat 18:3 And said, “Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven. ”
Would not the world be a wonderful place if we would trust God as a little child, and love each other as Jesus loves us?
Reuben, LOVE such a little word, however when a child understands love, he/she does not worry, are at peace, and ready to explore in truth and little fear.
